1. What are digital therapies?

Our therapies serve to guide and guide you in the same way that a therapist would do in an office, but 100% digital - helping you in changing habits, thoughts and behaviors that may be negatively affecting your sleep and well -being. For your safety, all our therapies are authorized by Anvisa.

2. What are special modules?

​Special modules are psycho-educational modules focused on specific conditions that can affect your sleep. Their goal is to educate, guide, suggest activities, behavior, and habits that can improve your sleep. They have articles, quizes, interactive exercises, audios, clinical tests and more! Each module is individual, and takes around 1 to 2 weeks to be complete.

3. Does digital therapy replace traditional therapy?

Although digital therapies have the potential to be effective, they may not be appropriate or ideal for all cases. The ideal approach may involve a combination of digital and traditional therapies, adapted to each person's individual needs. The decision to use digital or traditional therapies should be made in consultation with qualified health professionals, taking into account the nature and severity of the condition, as well as the preferences of each patient.

4. Are Sleepup therapies safe?

Yes! All Sleepup therapies are carefully evaluated and authorized by Anvisa.

5. What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI)?

CBTI is the first choice of intervention used in the treatment of chronic insomnia. It consists of a specific psychotherapeutic approach focused on the causes and symptoms of insomnia, being performed by a specialized psychologist. The purpose of this therapy is to instrumentalize it, with cognitive and behavioral techniques that allow us to solve problems related to their difficulties with sleep, creating a quieter sleep environment, positive and assertive attitudes, as well as modifying negative sleep-related associations in more realistic and positive associations.

6. How long does it last for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI)?

CBTI treatment has a protocol based on six modules, each weekly or biweekly module, so it lasts approximately two months, and a period of maintenance and follow -up up to one year.

7. What is sleep hygiene?

Sleep hygiene is an effective behavioral technique that aims to educate and teach the patient how to improve habits and behaviors that may be causing insomnia, thus having more appropriate, compatible and healthy attitudes towards sleep.

8. How long does sleep hygiene treatment last?

Overall the treatment of sleep hygiene lasts the time required for habits changes, it will depend on each individual and their needs, but usually lasts on average 15 days.

9. What is mindfulness therapy?

​Mindfulness is a methodology used to reduce emotional and physical stress. It is based on full attention techniques, focuses on the present, with openness to what is happening at the moment and without judgment to thoughts and feelings. Thus, thoughts that can generate suffering are contextualized, thus reducing anxiety, depression and stress.
