EEG Headband Components
Power switch for the Headband;
Bluetooth connectivity: for starting and loading readings;
Charging port: USB-C standard;
Operation LEDs:
• Blue LED - Feedback and general functions:
- Blinking every 1 second: Waiting for Bluetooth connection with the SleepUp app;
- Solid (no blinking): Connected via Bluetooth to the SleepUp app, no reading in progress.
- Blinking every 5 seconds: Reading in progress.

• Green LED - Headband is charging.
- The Headband will be fully charged when the green LED turns off during charging.
​
• Red LED - Battery at or below 20%.
- It is recommended to charge the Headband as soon as possible.
To turn on the Headband
• Flip the power switch to turn on the Headband.
​
• Check if the blue LED blinks every 1 second: this indicates that the headband is ready to connect via Bluetooth.
​
• If the blue LED does not blink, turn the headband off and on again to restart it.
To turn off the Headband
• Flip the power switch to turn off the Headband.
​
• The headband will be off when the LEDs are no longer lit.
Pairing with the SleepUp app
​Make sure you have already downloaded the app from the App Store or Play Store, and activated your account with the activation code.
1. Turn on the Headband as described above and open the SleepUp app.
2. Go to the "EEG Monitoring" section on the home screen.
3. Follow the app instructions to pair the Headband via Bluetooth.
4. After successful pairing, the blue LED will remain solid.
EEG Headband Settings
To access the EEG Headband settings, in the “EEG Monitoring” menu, click the gear icon in the top left corner.

• LED Mode and Brightness: Adjust the brightness and behavior of the LEDs while the Headband is on.
​
• Bluetooth Connection: Check the Headband’s connection to the app to upload your reading results.
​
• Reset Device: Restore the EEG Headband to its factory settings.
How to take readings with the EEG Headband
​Make sure you have already downloaded the app from the App Store or Play Store, and activated your account with the activation code.
1. Place the Headband on your head, positioning the plate on your forehead and the conductive fabrics over your ears.

Note: If you have long hair, tie it back or move it away from the conductive fabrics so that the recording is not affected.
2. Connect to the app via Bluetooth. In the app, select "Start reading."
​
The blue LED will blink every 5 seconds, indicating that the recording has begun.
3. After the recording starts, you can disconnect the Bluetooth from the Headband without interrupting the recording process.
4. Turn off the Headband using the power switch.
Check if the LEDs are off, confirming that the recording is complete.
​
Note: If the battery runs out during the recording, the data will be saved until the charge is completely exhausted.
How to upload your readings from the Headband to the SleepUp app
1. Connect the Headband to the SleepUp app via Bluetooth.
2. Click the “Upload Headband Readings” button.
​
Make sure the Headband has at least 40% battery to avoid interruptions.
3. Select the reading you want to load and wait. The estimated time is around 20 minutes.
​
Do not leave the loading screen until your reading is finished loading.
About battery levels and charging
If the battery is below 20%, the red LED will light up.
Battery levels can be checked by verifying the Bluetooth connection status.
To start a recording, the Headband must have at least 80% charge.
During data upload to the app, keep the Headband charged or plugged into a power source to avoid interruptions.
Maintenance and Care
Always store the Headband in its original box when not in use.

Keep the Headband clean and dry.
Avoid strong impacts and falls.
​​
By storing the Headband in the original box, you protect it from dust and humidity.
Troubleshooting
Headband does not turn on: Check if the switch is in the correct position and try again.

No LED lights are on: Connect the Headband to the app and adjust the LED mode in the settings to check if they have been turned off.
​​
Pairing issues: Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and restart the app.
